Hello! Thank you for providing the download link to the song, I found the video a while ago on Youtube and was searching for a sound file for a long time. I haven't had any luck finding the translated lyrics online, however, and was wondering if perhaps you could also provide a translation in English. Thanks again!
Hi Irene. Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately, the song is not entirely in the Farsi dialect that I speak, so I only recognize words here and there; I think the dialect is "Rashti" (from the city "Rasht") in the North of Iran.
As for the words and phrases that I do understand, they are rrather obscure. The gist of the song seems to be this: the singer is talking to a girl (perhaps his lover), and he's playing hard to get, saying he doesn't want her, that she's the cause of his pains, etc. and then switching gear and saying how much of an effect she has on him. It's a love-hate relationship that he's singing about, but it's all very playful. Hope that helps.
I doubt this will help you, but just in case, here is the link to the lyrics written in Farsi: http://www.domahal.com/song/18209.htm
Let me know if you have any questions. And thanks for visiting the blog!
Thanks so much! I unfortunately do not read or speak Farsi (yet) but the link to the lyrics is appreciated. I had one more curious question, what is the meaning of the word "Booshoo"?
Sorry, I don't know what it means. But it IS an exciting word! I will look into it, and hopefully get back to you by the weekend. If you want me to e-mail you directly instead of leaving a comment here, just send me an e-mail at rezgol@earthlink.net.
Take care.
THANK YOU FOR THE DOWNLOAD LINK FROM YOUTUBE. I WAS LOOKING FOR THIS SONG EVERYWHERE WITHOUT KNOWING THE NAMEEEEE.
